Pandora Park Garden Shed
design competition, Vancouver

The brief was for a structure that will support a small community garden. Its functions are: equipment storage, information display, meeting point, and small performance space. The design is simple and robust, but also has a lot of character. Recycled and low energy materials have been selected. The steel cage wall (gabion wall) filled with brick rubble and reclaimed PET bottles is an interesting design feature.
